Happy New Year to 28,000 readers!
It was fun and interesting writing my blogs on effective agile project management for government this year. Several live appearances on national TV (both BBC and Sky News) and on the ‘serious’ Radio 4 lunchtime news also. I try to make this blog analytical, whilst being brief and having a journalistic twist. More and more readers each month.
WordPress have sent me my annual analytical summary:
“Your blog was viewed about 28,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 10 sold-out performances for that many people to see it. The busiest day of the year was December 7th with 1,518 views.”
In the New Year we can look forward to the NAO report on the DWP’s “PIPs” project to replace Disability Living Allowance. And the W&P select committee return to interrogate the Minister of State on DWP’s late 2012-13 accounts. I will also be looking at the US ‘ObamaCare’ project, and the horrendous website problems encountered there…
Like my book, this is a trans-Atlantic blog since I believe there is much to share and learn on government projects from both sides of the pond. But to make the layout clearer, I am contemplating splitting the blog into project analysis from USA and UK governments separately – your thoughts?
Happy New Year!
